Next year, SIP will celebrate its 30th anniversary.
Both sides can strengthen Singapore-China cooperation by leading the way to the future around green development and the digital economy, by leveraging on institutions such as the NUS Suzhou Research Institute and the New Research Enterprise Cooperation Center to promote joint innovation, and by reaching out to the international community through the SIP's Singapore Centre for International Business Cooperation (SCCIBC).

Cao Lubao pointed out in his speech entitled "Building Future-oriented Cooperation" that SIP is an important cooperation project between the governments of China and Singapore, and it has been ranked first in the comprehensive evaluation of national-level development zones in mainland China for seven consecutive years. Such successful practice is attributed to the farsightedness of the leaders of the two countries, the concerted efforts of the parties concerned, the firm belief in long-term cooperation, and the concept of win-win cooperation.

Kunshan City, Taicang City, Wuzhong District, Xiangcheng District and Huqiu District (Suzhou Hi-Tech Zone) also signed cooperative projects with Singaporean enterprises respectively.
As of 2022, there are more than 900 actual operating enterprises invested by Singaporean enterprises in Suzhou, accounting for 5.1% of the city's total number of actual foreign-funded enterprises, with a cumulative total of more than US$11.4 billion in actual use of foreign capital; Suzhou enterprises have invested in a total of 147 projects in Singapore, with an agreed investment amount of US$2.9 billion from the Chinese side.
